A factory in China that had manufactured some camping equipment for a popular outdoor brand contacted us. Upon arrival into the UK, the shipment underwent a quality inspection process, and a problem was discovered with the latch mechanism on all 1400 items.

The camping equipment had to be unpacked and modified using a specialised hook scalpel to trim away the additional plastic on the plastic moulded mechanism to allow the latch to work properly. The goods were then repackaged and palletised ready for transportation to the distribution centre. The particular product was featured in a catalogue for a popular retail chain that was being circulated, requiring a quick turnaround to ensure customers could place orders without any delays. Our team successfully finished the task in a span of four days to ensure that the camping gear was ready for the beginning of the season as per the client's request.
