Moody Logistics and Storage is an award-winning family-run haulage and warehousing business, established back in 1947. The company is a founding member of the Pall-Ex pallet network which assists Moody’s provide transport services across the UK and Europe. MCR Services’ is a sister company of Moody’s and occupy a unit on Moody’s 7-acre site.

Challenge

As part of an ongoing sponsorship deal Moody’s has with rugby league team Newcastle Thunder, the haulage company was set to co-host a community day for youngsters at the team’s ground. With a day promised to attract 300 children from across the North East, Moody’s wanted to provide youngsters with a goodie bag containing bottled water, sweet treats, and a branded rugby stress ball. The team at MCR Services were given the project once all the components had arrived into Moody’s ready for handover.

Solution

Initially, MCR Services needed to add logo-ed sticky labels to each of the white paper bags before fulfilment. The project was completed within one day, with the bags boxed and added to a pallet ready for transport direct to the rugby ground the day before the event.
